With primary responsibility for our Cayuga Medical Associates (CMA) support, this position is responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of unit specific software.  Assists in the business redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.  Translates high level business requirements into functional solution specifications, evaluates vendor supplied software packages and makes recommendations to management and manages implementation. Prepares technical documentation for system software applications.  Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs software problems and performs problem resolution.  Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures and provides 3rd level technical support.
