The Cayuga Heart Institute Assistant  Director assist in  providing  leadership and  oversight of a Cardiac Stress lab, Cardiac Catheterization  laboratory, Electrophysiology /Interventional lab, Echocardiographic lab, EKG  and other cardiac services.  This coordinating with 7 cardiologist and 25 full time staff member to provides over 8,000 procedures.  Assist in providing coordination between administrators, physician and patient care activities that are consistent with the institutions objectives for achieving the highest standard of patient care as well as other institutional goals and objectives. To provide administrative, strategic planning, performance improvement and clinical quality direction to the Cardiac Service Line.    

Requirements:

Licensure as a registered nurse in New York State.
Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred
Certification in BLS and ACLS are required.
Work requires 3 years applied clinical experience as RN in cardiac care setting
Management experience preferred
