Medical Office Assistant position available to support our team at CCHL/CCMBS with clinical duties and direct patient care. This position performs clinic-related duties within the scope of practice: obtain and record patient's vital signs; chart prep and accurate data input; perform reception and registration duties including but not limited to check-in of patients upon arrival, collecting/verifying demographic and financial data and accurately entering information; assist with scheduling patient appointments, take messages and triage phone calls. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities a must. Strong medical terminology and ability to work independently required. Experience with performing insurance pre-authorizations and/or with Bariatric/General Surgery billing and coding a plus. High school degree plus medical office experience required, Medent experience preferred.

Position is located at the Cayuga Center for Healthy Living. Full time - days.
