Job Summary: Partners with departmental leadership to diagnose performance issues and learning needs, identifies appropriate training-based solutions, and develops learning frameworks to facilitate achievement of the individual departmental/unit's goals. Analyzes designs, develops, implements and evaluates leadership, employee and competency development programs and services designed to improve organizational effectiveness and business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities include:

- Works in partnership with HR, Staff Development, Leadership, and other key stakeholders to evaluate overall learning requirements, business objectives, desired results, and constraints. Designs and delivers programs and services that are aligned with CHS mission, culture, and strategy. Consults as needed with various levels of management and teams.

- Establishes a strategy, annual plan, leads cross functional execution and conducts a cost/benefit analysis for any recommendations made to these program areas.

- Has a strong focus on advancing competence and performance of CHS leadership team through competency development, effective leadership development programs, coaching, assessment, and succession planning programs and tools.

- Based on organization culture and/or departmental needs, and partnering with HR and Staff Development identifies and implements improvements in training curriculum and courseware using industry standard testing methods, needs analysis, and methods of redesigning training programs.

- Advances culture development and team performance through the design and deployment of suitable learning interventions to close employee skill, knowledge and performance gaps based on needs assessment, proven theory and best practice.

- Investigates available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner by which to meet specific learning needs.

- Acts as a corporate Coach in accordance with the guiding principles and ethical standards of the International Coach Federation.

- Evaluates and organizes data related to participation in and effectiveness of programs, services and interventions to assure stakeholder needs are met and continuous improvement.

- Utilizes infrastructure resources to ensure smooth operations, support to other learning professionals and corporatewide access to resources.

- Integrates culture, diversity and inclusion and corporate competencies into Learning and Development initiatives and programs.

- Stays current with trends in the learning and development industry. Continuously upgrades professional skills and self-leadership.

- Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting our mission and values and adhering to the Corporate Code of Conduct.

- Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.

- Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.

- Performs other functions as assigned by management.

- Is flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities not noted above.
