Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of clinical specific applications. Assists in the clinical process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level clinical requirements into functional solution specifications, evaluates vendor supplied software packages and makes recommendations to management, and manages implementation. Prepares technical documentation for system software applications. Assists with user training as needed. Diagnoses, isolates and de-bugs software problems and performs problem resolution. Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures and provides 3rd level technical support. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree; experience with Meditech is desired.
